Bakeology 108: Tiered Cake Construction | Jun 23 | 10A - 2P


Intimidated by stacking cakes? Unsure about creating sturdy tired cakes that remain standing? This class is for you! We have years of experience creating cakes from 2 to 10 tiers and we want to share all that knowledge with you.   In this four hour, hands-on class, you will learn the following:

  • How to construct a 3 tier cake from start to finish

  • How to level, fill and frost cake tiers and prepare them for stacking

  • Techniques, tricks & tips for applying fondant like the pros, including how to achieve sharp corners

  • Internal structures that will keep your cake standing, even through rough deliveries

  • How to package your cakes for a successful delivery

  • And much, much more

We will provide all recipes, ingredients, supplies and smallwares.  You will need to bring

  • 8” and 6” cake layers ( two of each size). We will provide a 4” cake.

  • An apron (flour and powdered sugar get everywhere)

  • Comfortable shoes (we’ll be on our feet most of the class)

  • A notebook and pen (you’ll definitely want to take some notes)

At the end of class, you will take home your cake, all recipes used and a swag bag!

Classes take place in Miramar, FL.
